Chris Lofton Leaves The Denver Nuggets

PG Chris Lofton signed a one year contract to play in Turkey Sunday evening.

After staying and enjoying all four seasons at the University of Tennessee, Lofton entered the 2008 NBA Draft.

At 6-2 200lbs, Chris Lofton was a deadly long range shooter, but went undrafted in the June draft, because of his lack of IQ at his position.

Hoping to play the role of the dark-horse, Chris joined the Denver Nuggets Summer League roster where he averaged 2.3 PPG, 0.3 RPG, and 60% 3pt shooting, coming off the bench in 5 games.

Here is a list of Lofton's accomplishments while at Tennessee:

Led the Volunteers to the Sweet Sixteen during the 2006-07 season

Captured and set the All Time record for three pointers made at the University of Tennessee with 431

2006-07 SEC Player Of The Year

2nd Team All-American during the 2006-07 season

3rd Team All-American during the 2007-08 season
